Milan Center is located in Milan Township, northeast of Fort Wayne along the Maumee River. It once included a school, Milan Center Feed & Grain, Brueggeman Lumber, and a church. Brueggeman Lumber relocated nearer Highway 37, and their buildings subsequently burned.
Milan Township and the Woodburn school districts cooperatively built Woodlan High School in the early 1960s. The districts were consolidated into East Allen County Schools around 1970. Milan Center School now is listed as a private school. That same designation is used for Amish schools and many Amish live in Milan Township. I don't know if Milan Center School is an Amish school.
