Holiday Inn Select was the conference hotel. It's a bit fancier and pricier than the places I ordinarily stay, but I wanted to be close to the various activities and mingle with other attendees. It was quite nice, with a friendly, courteous staff.

Alley-skulking again
This was the only place I ran afoul of security on this trip, something of a record for me. I was intent on the facades across the street and the way they were framed by the buildings on each side of the alley, and I didn't notice that I was in the alley behind the Federal Courthouse.
Farther east on Main Street. The beautiful historic buildings seem to never end!
This isn't a Victorian building, but it's been around a while. I bought a brake cable for my Raleigh 3-speed bike from Mulhaupt's in 1958, in this same building.
