October 21, 2010 - Removing sheet piling.
The weight of the vibratory pile driver and the strain of pulling on and then lifting sometimes-stubbornsheets while working at or near the maximum reach of the hoe made this a tough job for the size of
the machine. Still, the piling came out much more rapidly than it went in, and with considerably less vibration
felt in nearby residences.

I wonder what this looks like from over there.
Well, it feels like walking on a big wet sponge made of mud. I'm glad I put on my 5-buckle boots to keep my shoes from filling up with mud and to spread my weight a little more so I did't sink in and get stuck.
In case you've been wondering about that pipe, it's a storm drain for catch basins along the street.
A view of my house that I've never seen before. As long as I've lived here - since the early 1970s, this view has been obscured by trash vegetationovergrowth along the bank.
